ERODE

Dates
Sun, Aug 30, 12:30 am
TWE uses a sliding scale for tickets. Things to keep in mind, the higher end of the sliding scale is for those with full time, gainful employment and perhaps generational wealth. The middle of the scale are for middle class and those who can afford the recommended ticket price per equitable exchange, and the low end is for those who need need for financial support at this time. The scale is balanced by people reserving tickets at all price points.

ERODE is an eco-erotic contemporary dance with the sovereign molecular centers of the natural world. Together we build a queer, decolonial praxis of connection and relationship with our elemental kin. To find reciprocal relationships with nature is a slow, intuitive, sensual, improvisational and fluid practice; we oscillate between minutiae and maximalism.
This time it is not ritual, it is not a call to action, it is an invitation to listening, feeling and connecting.
Performed by Lu Chen, Sabrín Feels, Taylor Arvizu Hara, Nate Ramos, and Taja Will.
For one evening only we build an ephemeral world with water, soil, clay, willow, flowers and more, come witness with all of your senses.

Accessibility
The Building is fully ADA accessible including door sizes to outside, to the theater, and restrooms. None of the doors have working push-to-open buttons, however there will be hosts in the space for door opening. Restrooms are gendered multi-stall and one single stall restroom. There is a drinking fountain and places to fill a water bottle if needed. We recommend masking and will have some available. Earplugs will also be available. We don't believe in historical or traditional audience restrictions, meaning the audience is invited to enter and exit the space as needed during the duration of the performance, breaks are welcome. We will have fidget like, hand held objects connected to the content of the work for everyone if desired. Seats are folding chairs with cushioned bottoms, the width is rather narrow. Floor seating is welcome, and any audience member is welcome to bring your own cushions for floor or chair, or your own chair that works for your body.
For folks who need specific seating or other access needs please reach out the tajawillconsulting@gmail.com to share more.
